What makes a class meaningful is not just the subject knowledge but the experience. In all the classes that I have taught, I tried to get to know my students and adjust the course content to be relevant to their goals and life experiences. My interactive teaching style has received positive feedback from my students. Students have described me as “very personable” and my in-class activities have been described as “interesting and fun.”

Currently at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, I am teaching courses related to globalization, including COMM2500 Introduction to Global Communication (BA level) and COMM5520 Applied Research Methods (for MA in Global Communication). Previously, I also taught COMM3131 Online Dating and Hookup Culture, a popular course among undergraduate students.
